Field Databases

We have collated a database of over 3.8 million different chemical structures available from commercial suppliers and a database of over 700,000 moieties that occur in commercial compounds. Each compound or moiety is stored in up to 100 3D conformations and Fields have been added to each conformation. The databases are a source of potential new chemotypes and bioisosteres for drug discovery and IP protection.

You can access the databases through Versaphor’s products and services. They can be searched using the Field of a known active compound to find molecules or fragments that can present a similar Field pattern to the biological target of interest. The databases can be filtered in many different ways (preferred supplier, molecular weight, desired/undesired functionality), so that the results are directly relevant to your needs.
